Monday, July 12

FireEye: “We want CrowdStrike, we want Zscaler or we want Palo Alto Networks. Those are our plays, and then when Deep Instinct comes we will recommend that too. I do like [SentinelOne], but I haven’t done enough work on it.”

OncoCyte: “I like diagnostics, I like anti-cancer, I’m going to bless it as a speculation.”

Monday.Com: “That’s a hard stock. MNDY is a very hard stock ... I’ve got to do more work.”

High Tide: “Too many of them. I like GrowGeneration.”

DermTech: “Anything that can have early detection of skin cancer is worth speculating on.”

3D Systems: “We’re going with something much more conservative with that. New investor, we’re going to actually hit on UnitedHealth.”

Tuesday, July 13

Blackstone: “I like Blackstone very much.”

Advanced Micro Devices: “Advanced Micro is a screaming buy.”

Cleveland-Cliffs: “I want to buy the stock and put it away.”

Golden Ocean: “It’s up too much and the 2.5% yield ain’t going to help you if we decide that there’s a slowdown in world trade.”

Crispr Therapeutics: “It’s a very speculative stock. It sits at 100-plus points. A lot of people can’t take that kind of downside pressure, but I think that you can buy half a position because I do think that it has always been ... [a potential] takeover stock.”

Lam Research: “I’m going to say buy it. I know it’s moved a great deal. I wish they’d split it, but they’re not going to.”

Covanta: “I think it’s OK ... I think that there are other plays that are better. I would even buy.

Chevron ... more than I would buy Covanta.”

BJ’s Wholesale: “BJ’s is a buy.”

Wednesday, July 14

Renewable Energy: “I say buy.”

Altimeter Growth: “I think that one’s actually a good one.”

Hercules Capital: “I’m going to look into that for you because it’s got a 7% yield ... We will have to come back and analyze the balance sheet of them before I make a decision.”

Affirm: “I was stunned yesterday when Apple said it might do buy now, pay later, then suddenly Affirm went down. I mean, Affirm is a good company, for heaven’s sake. It’s starting to really bug me ... I am a buyer at the $56 level.”

Barrick Gold: “It’s [CEO] Mark Bristow. It’s really hostage to gold. Gold peaked. I like it. I think you should own it.”

Thursday, July 15

Rio Tinto: “I think Rio Tinto is actually a good company. Now, you do need a stronger economy than we have, but it’s well run. I’d like you to hold on to it.”

Quantumscape: “The reason why it’s been going down, frankly, is there’s people at other companies, notably Ford, that think they have a better battery. So, what it’s really going down about is not that the battery doesn’t work, but that there are other companies with better batteries, and I’m beginning to believe that is the case.”

VMware: “I’d rather own Dell than I would VMware because of the change in the structure.”

Veru: “They’ve got to show the better data. They’ve got to go out of stage 2 and into stage 3. If the stage 3 is good as stage 2 for a lot of what they’re doing in cancer, then I think the stock goes much higher.”
